Neat! When I was very young I remember helping my grandfather gather eggs and of all things you won't guess what was in the nest boxes besides eggs ... if you guessed white porcelain door knobs (like the one in this picture), I'd be surprised, but you would be correct. It seems that by leaving something remotely egg shaped in the nest encourages the hens to keep laying. I don't know why, but it works.

I like the angle of this shot! :)
