The age of the door recalls the past. It tells of a time when it welcomed friends and family.
The current condition of it speaks to the present age. It is old and beyond use, but not beyond beauty.
Finally the window and the unfocused image in the background speak of a future. An undefined future, but one of possibility and hope.
