I am kind of surprised hearing that form you, given the strong vignette you employ in your own work. I guess it is a matter of taste.
I made the preview bigger (900 pixels) which may make it possible for you, to see what I see on my own screen. (Which is calibrated). On my screen only the extreme corners are void of detail, which is what I wanted. It is a little unbalanced in that the top right is stronger, that comes from the method I used which was not to apply a vignette, but rather to modify the lighting direction and flow... it amounts to the same thing, but is more flexible (and difficult) than simply applying a vignette. The centre of the light (and vignette) is not at the centre of the image but rather in the lower left quadrant.
