These old international trucks are fairly common in the area where I live, given the number I have seen parked in fields and under trees. The exterior condition varies a bit depending upon exposure to the elements. But overall the appear to have been built like tanks. In almost every case, they are still in running condition and require only a six volt battery and some fuel to run.
From my perspective, these old vehicles are a testament to the people who made them, ran them and cared for them. A special thank you to  for using this image in his stamp design [link] |
