While taking pictures on this yard, I met a very interesting farmer and had a long visit.
One of the concerns he highlighted was vandalism to old vehicles like this. While I had not run across it up until that point myself, a couple of weeks later I went back to another vehicle that I have photographed a few months ago. When I got there, I discovered that someone had broken the headlights and the windshield. Because of this foolishness, a well preserved old vehicle is not totally open to the elements, and will likely deteriorate very quickly. I will post a couple of images of this vandalized vehicle in the next few weeks.
Vandalism is something inexplicable for me...Is it a manifestation of dark forces inside humans... or just a traces of childish features...(most of chidren break their first toys before they learn to play with them)...
Nice picture Wayne!

I guess in reality I am not so pure in myself. As a younger person, I must admit that I did beak a few things that should have been left alone. Not proud of it, and in the process i think I learned to have more respect. Still don't understand why, and maybe that is the same here.
Although it is a very interesting vehicle my eye keeps wandering to the bright patch of dirt to the left of it. It also seems like the composition is weighted a little to heavily in the center of the frame. I think a crop would take care of both things and draw a little more attention to the house running out the right side of the frame which I think adds a lot to this picture. It makes me wonder: did the person come here and never leave allowing there vehicle to deteriorate from disinterest and disuse?

thank you Alberto, I really appreciate your support.
I also like your comment. I would never have seen it in that light. I always amazes me how people see things differently, and I think that is one of the reasons I post.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
