We have a tendency to take our surroundings for granted. We fail to recognize, not only our dependence on it but also, our connection to it. As we rush through our lives, pushing to make a living, accumulate possessions, prepare for the future, we are constantly at risk to over look and take the beauty and diversity of our world for granted. It is only when we pause, that we become vaguely aware of the complexity of the organism in which we find our existence. In fact, we tend to even ignore that fact that the world as we know it is, indeed a complex organism and that we are just a part of it, not above it.
As we continue to affect our world, this co-dependancy is likely to become more and more apparent. Our success seems to be connected to our ability to take this vague awareness to a different level where we find value in creation, not for our own gain, exploitation and wealth, but rather as a gift to be used by this generation and many more to come.
I too love the colour. out on the praries, we have a lot of browns formost of the year (except spring). I like getting into forest where the green lasts longer.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
