it is the first thing that i have done since the surgery. It was very much like I remember painting, different areas coming out in different ways at different times. It is perhaps the most complex image I have ever created for dA. It is still an experiment, but I like how far it came.

it was such an ordinary scene, yet there was something in it that I liked. I hope I was able to bring those elements out.

I have not had that "painting" feeling very much in my computer work, but today when I did this image, I kept feeling like each layer was like putting on paint. It was a wonderful experience for me, because i have not actually held a brush for 30 years.
