very good gradients and contrast. nice details. i like the composition. don't know what changes you made to your original, but really can't see any more improvements needed. nice job.

basically I just turned it into a B&W, but I did make some tonal adjustments, mostly in the mid range. Then I ensured there was a true black and a true white without adjusting contrast. These last steps are necessary in B&W processing. (At least that is how I was taught back in the day).

I love it, something I would try too is giving some colour to the flower buds, or faint colour to the truck.... but maybe that's just me?

I took your original and played with it a bit, I had forgotten that those flowers were clover, so there is not a lot of colour to play with, but I did try just the truck in colour, and that looked good, and I tried the truck and grass, and I liked that too, with the sky ominous looking...

What do you use for photoshop?
