For me, life and the experience of life is like this road, there are hills, valleys, twists and turns. We really only have two options, to accept our journey and to step out, or to opt out entirely. Regardless of our choice however, there are many voices that we will hear on our way. And sometimes, it is the unheard call that we must head.

This image depicts the choice of travelling along a road that is not smooth and from which the distance cannot be seen, yet the traveller continues to progress.

I do not often manipulate an image, but this is one of those times it was necessary.

Large view is probably required.

Wonderful shot. :clap: I love this type of road or should I say trail? Your analogy is also very apt.
I've always equated life to a river with waterfalls, rapids, unpredicable currents, twist and turns and the rare still pool where you can catch your breath. :)

But on this road called life you have so many arms.
In my opinion there is no clear road from the beginning until the end. You will come to so many crossing points and on every of them you will have to choose which road you want to go.
