This shot is kind of a celebration. As many of you know, I have spend a lot of time building a collection of images that I have called "An Old Ride" [link] (Unfortunately, page two of the collection has stopped working since I posted this image.... sorry about that).

Over the last number of months some amazing things have happened to this collection. The first was that "Ridge Road Chevy" was selected for a five month tour. Then, a local car dealership agreed to hold a one month display of 9 of the images in the collection, and they have now extended that to the new year. In conjunction with that, I released a limited edition book of about 20 of the images.

Then the local art Gallery asked me to do a month long show of the entire collection in March 2009. That came as a total surprise and I have been working hard over the last while to order, stretch and frame 30 prints for this show.

Finally, over the last few weeks, two other galleries have agreed to hold a show of this collection each lasting 4 to 5 weeks and three other galleries have indicated interest but need to have a meeting before they can book dates. All in all "An Old Ride" seems to be on the road and my 2009 has just become very busy.
